I do not believe there are any really good *new* 550s that are extremely inexpensive. The good news is that 550s are no longer popular with people who want to go very fast, so used ones should be fairly easy to find, at least in the US. The very best ones are the factory EVO injectors, because the dead time (latency) is very short. The next best would be the standard ND 550 injectors from Japan. The going price seems to be about 100 USD/set.
I think the A/T should be able to handle as much power as you can make. Most fast people don't want to use them because it is difficult to make them accelerate hard from a dead stop without nitrous oxide. High stall torque convertors to solve that problem are very expensive. |
