Hey Guys,

I'm Wittie and I come from Greifswald.

I have an problem with my car. Exactly with rust.. There is a sheet metal work to do and I want to ask you if you can say me how much it cost to paint the complete car?

It has also a little hail damage and my bumpers are a little damaged..

I'm a student and this car is my dream but here it is very expensive to fix the problems.. So I thougth the Mitsu-friends and neighbours can help

My dream ist to paint the total car and fix the problems for a long time. So it is important that the painter (condition is that he is a real good painter) gives somthing like a guarantee..

My plan is to bring the car for examples 4 days to the painter and to sleep in a youth hostel or something like that.

Maybe someone of you is in the same city and we can drink a beer or can dance in a club

It would be very nice that the painter is located not more than 300 Km from my hometown.

I really hope our "mitsu-friendship" can bring us togehter and can help in that case..

Sorry for my openness but as a student you have to come up with something

It's nice to know that our community is known also out of Poland
As robertdg wrote before me, costs of complete work starts from 1300€. We do not exactly know in what condition your Mitsu is. If you can put some photos over here it will be easier to tell what must be fixed.
Anyway, one of polish bigger city - Szczecin is ~130 km away from your town. You can do some weekend trip and check prices in Poland. I think that people from Szczecin (Mitsumaniacs) will help Just tell a word and we will talk with proper persons.

at first thank you for your nice welcome

The idea to drive for a weekendtrip to Szczecin is good but my girlfriend would kill me if we spend a hole weekend in poland for "priceinformation in poland

Maybe it is possible to drive to Szczecin for a whole day (for example friday morning starts the tour - maybe at 9 o clock - and then until the evening - maybe until 18 o clock).. I think i'll come with my best friend - the father of my godchild

Without pictures it is hard to say a price - i know.. Tomorrow when the sun is shining i'll take some pictures for you

I plan to change the bumpers.. My wish is to get the avance bumpers - maybe someone of you has a front (incl. the wheelhouse plastics and lock carrier) and rear bumper for sell

Also i want to change my dashboard in a black one (my dashboard is grey), black carpet and all the other black things that i miss in my car

Another plan is to get a Vr4 strut bar and suspension struts..


To come back to "our paint project".. 1300 euro sounds ok.. My dream is a black deep red.. I don't know if you know "deep candy red"..

That is only an idea.. But a black red is my total dream!!!

Today i talked with my best friend and we dated after next week our visit..

We want to come in the week for a day - for example tuesday the 22th of march.

He wanted to ask how much does it cost to paint a bonnet? He has the normal dark Galant red on his car..

that sounds good with the guys from Zachodniopomorskie! Maybe someone can speak english or german for a better understanding

Maybe there is one who ones a real good painter in area of Świnoujście (there we buy our cigaretes )

But Szczecin of course is also ok!

It would be very very nice if could something to the guys in polnish!

Do you really think the rust is in a not so worse condition?

On the fotos it is hard to see the hail damage especially on the roof.. In my thougths maybe it is easier to install a sunroof (that's what i miss in the galant in very a big way)..



Another thing is what i wrote yesterday

Hey my friends

I'm so sorry that I don't write how the story ends..

I don't know why but for the last 3 or 4 months my IP was banned from the forum
Whoever now I can tell you how it ends

Last summer I give my car to my painter here. After he started his work he was shocked.. There was more rust that we ever had expected.. Behind the Rear-Bumber the complete car was destroyed.. All over there was rust..
I did not have the money for a new car and so my decision was to fix it.. The car was 4 months there.. Aftwer I get it back I was so happy! But then there was the next problem.. My parents car had an engine damage
My parents did not had the money to fix it and so I gave them my car.. After 2 or 3 months there was saved up enough money to repair the car.. In february I get my car back!

Now I have my car and there also other changed things in it..
The whole things in the car are changed in black (dashboard etc).
I have a VR4 Strut bar and suspension struts.
I have the avance side skirts on the car.
In my shed there is a avance front bumper that needed to be paint.
The electrically folding mirrors are also waiting for installing into the car.
Also a HC speedometer is in my shed. I onlay need to change the mp/h display into a km/h display ^^

So I hope you are not angry that I did not write earlier!



Now I have another Problem.. The car from my best friend was stolen here in germany It is a Galant EA0 Station Wagon in red..

So the car currently looks from behind with a different antenna (10cm silver-colored bar)

It is possible that the car was brought to Eastern Europe. Maybe someone of you has seen the car?

More infomation :

The car has light leather seats and the rear windows are black(mirror)tinted. Striking is that it has been painted black on the bottom bar of the rear window. the grill and lower ribs of the front bumper are also painted in black.

Striking is the fact that in the bottom of the front bumper driver's side there is a gold-colored label with "Bitte ein Bit" (it is a german beer).

In the on headrest there is a monitor an the brake is coloured in red. It is a 16'' brake from the VR4.

The exhaust sound is muffled because the flex piece is broken.

At least yes it is a 2,5l V6!

No Mitsumaniaki szukajmy, może komuś trafi się na jakiejś aukcji czy to części/auto.
